Residents have diverse tastes and come from different cultural backgrounds and communities across many decades. This also means that there is a wide variety of general interests whether it be history, geography, classical music, opera, dance, theater, television and more.

 

We provide a template sheet questionnaire which staff members can fill out for each of their residents about their favorite music, movies and general interests. We then create personalized playlists for the residents based on these preferences so they can access their talk shows/podcasts on their interests and also music from their favorite artists. We use the platform Spotify to provide these playlists and they can be updated periodically by us externally for each resident group. For the roll-out of this service, feel free to get in touch. We can also set up ebook playlists for those with visual impairment which means your residents can listen to their favorite books instead of reading them. This is a popular type of playlist for certain residents.
