Why do interactive activities benefit the residents?

Your residents have many options at their finger tips when it comes to passive entertainment. Most have access to televisions and have a plethora of entertainment waiting to be consumed.
We like to differentiate our activities from the standard concert and incorporate a high level of resident participation into our performances. This can be done by making sure that performers and therapists are well versed in songs both nostalgic and engaging for the residents, as well as the use of instrumentation for residents to access like hand percussion and shakers.
The result is an activity that becomes more than just a passive concert and transforms into a motivating and movement based activity that blends fun with feeling.
If you would like to "shake" up your activities programming and wish to discuss options that best suit your residents, please don't hesitate to contact us via email or phone. We can help you identify the best activity for your resident group and work with you on providing the most diverse and aged care friendly activities.
kind regards,
Andrew
